May 25, 2010· I have a fire pump and since the GC was going to pour more concrete, we set the pump up on 3/4" A. T. Rod with 1" sch 80 pipe nipples (sleeved the Rod) and they formed and poured the pump pad, my question is; the lower lip of the pump base is encased in the concrete so where does the NFPA 20 requirement come into play for grouting?
